During the summer program, students enjoy inside and outside fun games, arts and crafts, tutoring, social emotional learning, and weekly visits to neighorhood park and library. Breakfast and lunch provided.
We offer an afterschool program during the Chicago Public School year from 3pm until 6pm - Monday through Friday. During the afterschool program, we provide programming to engage students in academic and recreational activities (homework assistance, learning exercises to address learning gaps, social emotional learning, inside and outside games and activities). Snacks are provided.
Community Engagement and Partnerships
We are currently serving as a polling location for municipal, state and national elections and a location for block club meetings. We partners with the Austin Library where our youth go for summer activiites and afterschool events. We are seeking other partnership opportunities.
